The Infinity set is a capable set, although not a favorite. With some fine tuning at the active xover and EQ'ing from the HU, you can make them sound pretty good. Eventually you'll probably want something else, and with an active xover, that opens up so many possibilities. You can either buy another matched comp set altogether or buy separate mids and tweets and piece a new front stage together. Versatility is another key factor when going active.should i upgrade my components or would that be a good setup jus the way it is???
It's really going to be a personal preference thing. Generally you can save quite a bit of money by selecting your own mids and tweeters and have them sound just as good (if not better in some cases) than a branded matched component set.i was thinking about seperate mids and tweeters instead of the componets. would that setup sound more clearer than components or is it a personal preference thing? i really wanna try an active set up tho.
