need help for more clarity

95 Civic won't need rear speakers. Take the money you had planned for rears and put it towards just the front speakers.

You'll get the best soundstaging you can with just fronts and a sub stage.

And if you feel something is missing after doing so, you can always add in rears later on down the road.

should i upgrade my components or would that be a good setup jus the way it is???
The Infinity set is a capable set, although not a favorite. With some fine tuning at the active xover and EQ'ing from the HU, you can make them sound pretty good. Eventually you'll probably want something else, and with an active xover, that opens up so many possibilities. You can either buy another matched comp set altogether or buy separate mids and tweets and piece a new front stage together. Versatility is another key factor when going active.

i was thinking about seperate mids and tweeters instead of the componets. would that setup sound more clearer than components or is it a personal preference thing? i really wanna try an active set up tho.

It's really going to be a personal preference thing. Generally you can save quite a bit of money by selecting your own mids and tweeters and have them sound just as good (if not better in some cases) than a branded matched component set.

oh thats what i like.... spending less money on something that'll sound much better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

thanks for everything man

Slope, frequency range, and brand, generally.

Coustic XM6, Profile RX30R, and Memphis 16-XO3 would be great budget units to start off with. The Memphis will be a bit more expensive than the other 2 ($30-50 vs $130-180).

lets say i do an active setup with the componets i have right now and i want to add some speakers in the rear deck..... would i have to add another amp??? and if i do how would i hook it up???

If those are the new Infinities which are 2ohm at the crossover, you may kill your headunit which is probably made for 4ohm per channel.
