Need help fixing shoes....?

Bet you won't wear leather shoes to the gas station anymore.....

just try letting them air out. maybe some heat as mentioned ^^
I was on my way to pick up the G/F for VD dinner. Was about to run out of gas. Had no choice but to fill up at that point. Didn't see the slick of gasoline/oil on the ground when I pulled up at the pump. I had been waiting for a pump for about 10 mins already, was running late, and just was trying to get some fuel quickly. When I was getting back in my car, I almost fell on my *** because it was so slippery. I had to change my shoes when I got to my G/F's house. Luckily I had a spare pair of shoes over there.

The shoes in question are a crappy pair of low cut boots that I wear daily. They are comfortable and worn in just like I like them. I just wish they didn't reek of gasoline now. I guess it is just time to go buy a new pair. I thought someone here might have the magic trick to fix them instead.

BTW, I will try the fire method at lunch time. I won't follow the wearing them while trying advice however.

coffee grinds, get rid of any smell, ANY SMELL

used to conceal weeds smell, and it will get rid of gasoline too..

rub some coffee on your boots, let em air out for a day or two and then clean em up, should be all gone..

then you should waterproof your shoes... i dont get why a lot of people dont do this..
