Hey i'm about to tear apart the car. I need to know what number i'm looking for when I use the DMM. About 100w and 60-75w. About what ac voltage will i be lookin at? subwoofer tools is currently down.

what ohm load?

60-75 watts@4ohms will give a 15-17 volt reading on the dmm . 100watts@4ohm will give you 20 volts.

Better go with DC instead of an AC setting...LOL!

Oh heck, who cares whether those cycles alternate or not?

don't have to set it. Auto ranging meter.
