Need help fast Head unit wont power on!

ok so im helping my friend hook up a new system in hs car and he already had an upgraded headunit that worked fine. We took it out to install the remote wire and the rcas. when we put it baCK IN IT WORKED FOR A WHILE AND NOW IT WONT Power on. the fuse is fine. idk what the problem is. help needed fast so we can get it done tonight

Did you check your Connections to +12 Constant(sometimes Yellow) and +12 Switched(sometimes Red) as well as Ground(sometimes Black)?

never checked the ground is there an inline fuse somewhere that could have blown

yeah the factory fuse coulda blown. Get the car's manual and see which fuse the radio runs off of and check to see if its blown. If it is blown other stuff shouldn't work as well like the dome light or power locks, blah blah.

well the lights and shit still work but the head unit doesnt

you should still get the factory manual and check your fuse box, its usually in the drivers foot well but the manual will have more details to its location

Usually a fuse on the deck so check that. And check the fuse for the radio/electrical thats in the car's fuse box (either left side panel of the dashboard or in a flipout box underneath driver's side.. depending on what you drive).

A lot of H.U.'s won't power on unless the antenna is plugged in. Check and see if it's unplugged or not.

Usually it's printed on the inside of the fuse panel lid.
