Need help deciding on a HU

I'm goign to be buying a new head unit for my car soon.. to upgrade it from its current stock cassette deck.. haha.

I've been searching through forums, through stores, looking for the best HU in my price range of 150-300.

I've really been looking at the pioneer P7700MP or the premier P770MP if I could find a place to buy it with the included warrenty.

I was also wondering about the P6700. It's 70 dollars cheaper, doesnt look as nice, but wondering if its pretty much the same as the 7700.

any suggestions? also looking for suggestions for any HU. (I'll need an aux input on it though)

What do you want out of it specifically besides an aux input?

I have two 12 inch subs, 980 watt amp.

i want clarity, aux input, somethign to look at, and possibly those 4v preamps, but really not needed as I listen to rock

just something really good quality with a lot of good features.
