need help choosing the best way to wire my stuff

ok heres what i got,

earthquake phd2 and a older kenwood interior amp

now it says i need 4guage oin the phd2, but i know i dont need anything bigger then 8 guage on the kenwood amp. is there a way i can run 4 gauge from the battery back then to a distro to 8guage and 4 (do they make that) or what if i just ran 4guage and 8guage from battery back with two fuse holders?? thanks for advice in advance

When I had my PHD2 I ran 1/0 to it, I don't know if you wanna run 2 amps off of of 4 gauge, especially that Earthquake.
