Need help choosing size and sub

I have a 96 Mustang Cobra. I am going to add a single sub. I am on a tight budget, about $250 for sub and amp. I haven't got the amp yet, so I am open on subs. I want to add just a little bass that can be heard in the cab. I don't care about loudness outside, only quality inside. I am debating a single 10 or single 12, leaning towards the 10. I need a sub that performs well in a small sealed enclosure. I will be putting it in a truck style box to save room. I am really thinking about an elemental designs sub. I have $100 max for a sub, what would you suggest? I want new equipment, not interested in buying used. Thanks.

Im running 2 alpine 10" type e in a 78 camaro and they sound decent. Not overly loud and they dont require too much power. They are in a set of custom boxes that i made to fit behind the wheel well in the quarter panel they are about 1 cu ft a piece. So they seem to do alright in a smaller enclosure and they are fairly cheap. I got my set for $160. They are only 250w rms so a small amp would power one just fine.
