Need help choosing head unit

Hi all,

I am new to the world of car audio and could use some help. I want to buy a new head unit that will play mp3s and need to know which is the best one to get as I have no idea which brands are worth while or what to look for. If you guys could please give me some suggestions i would appreciate it. Price is not a huge factor but I don't want to spend an outragous amount of money. Thanks for the help.

I like Jensen models. They have several MP3/CD players and are very full featured for the price. I just purchased the MP5010K which is their top MP3 player. But if you want to spend a little less, their MP3310 or MP3510 are excellent choices too. Mine has 5 volt preouts, preset scan as well as regular scan, 20FM/10AM presets, and rotary volume knob, which were the things important to me. WalMart carries a couple of their models for less than $175.
