I am stuck between the HD2500, PH2500MD, Elite 1800.1, and the VFL2680.1D.

I want the most efficient and powerful amp of them all. I am just not very familiar with the models. Which would you recommend for my XFL12 @ 1 ohm? Let's get loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i did 2 xfl's on 2 vfl 100.1's strapped at 1 ohm but the woofers eventually died that being said the hd-2500 or a single 100.1 would probably be sufficient for 1 xfl but if you plan on upgrading i would go with mylows suggestion of the 150.1 at 2 ohm

I can't do more than one XFL given my space and I'm still pushing it. Wouldn't the VFL 4480 be too much power on a single sub? I don't plan to upgrade and if I do, it will be a better single sub.

I say you keep your sub and run it at 1 ohm with clean gains and it would slam man im telling you.
I still have to order the sub, I was just getting excited when I started the thread //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif I'm going to do that tonight. Any other suggestions before I buy such as where to go? I'm looking at eBay right now for the customer service/price combination.

Here is my thought, theory. Those speakers are 80w rms. Half of that is 40w rms. Add the 40 to the 80 and you get 120w. Get an amp that is 120w...
