Need Help Choosing American Bass Amp

I am stuck between the HD2500, PH2500MD, Elite 1800.1, and the VFL2680.1D.

Yep. Or even a 150.1. Run it at 2 ohms for the one sub. Then get another. Done

I run a 150.1 on a dual 2 xfl 12 and it handles it fine

i did 2 xfl's on 2 vfl 100.1's strapped at 1 ohm but the woofers eventually died that being said the hd-2500 or a single 100.1 would probably be sufficient for 1 xfl but if you plan on upgrading i would go with mylows suggestion of the 150.1 at 2 ohm

I can't do more than one XFL given my space and I'm still pushing it. Wouldn't the VFL 4480 be too much power on a single sub? I don't plan to upgrade and if I do, it will be a better single sub.

You can always dial the gains back or get a d4 sub to run half power the xfl needs about 1600 rms clean to perform really good

Good point.. You think the XFL 12 @ 2 ohms on a VFL 4480.1D would be my best bet at around 1650 watts then?

I say you keep your sub and run it at 1 ohm with clean gains and it would slam man im telling you.

Any other suggestions before I buy such as where to go? I'm looking at eBay right now for the customer service/price combination.

@mylows10; he is an american bass dealer and will get you the sub for the right price and will come from the factory direct.. with new warranty i dont buy subs off anyone but a dealer those online sometimes dont have any warranties
