Need help choosing a Sub

Hey so like every1 i wanna totally redo my whole system, Right now i have CDT Hd's with about 100 watts going to them very underpowered and A Brahma 15 ported to about 32 Hz 3 Cuft With a viper 1200.1 on that. I wanna go Louder. I was thinking maybe 2 12's or 2 15's Sx's with 2 viper 1200.1's. Either Sx's or Maybe like 2 12 inch XXX's But with the givin power I fiqured the Sx's will be more then enough no? Also i wanna get a better amp for My Comps maybe even upgrade to the New O7's from CDT. Can any1 help me out with opinions or if they have maybe heard 2 Sx's. And will there be a huge diffrence between 2 12's and 2 15's if i have the same 1200 watts going to them.

What kind of electrical system do you have? Two XXX I believe will put a hurtin' on your electrical system.

no, what he meant was that if ur running xxxs, ur feeding them serious power. 2400 on a stock system is not adviseable.

Any1 back to the topic, Will 2 15's Be alot louder then 1 15??? i saw somewhere its only like 3 Dbs or something like that..... but i fiqured twice teh air moving twice how hard it hits.

if you want alot louder go with SX's not XXX's. And oh yeah 2 SX 15's ported would be INSANE off 2 viper 1200.1 and strapped they were tested to do 3600w at low voltage.

What they mean though is with the XXX's you'll have to push the amps ALOT harder to get to the same output as you would the SX's. SX will get quite a bit louder than the XXX with same power.

i notice a pretty big difference when I play both my 12's as opposed to just one... If you can go with two, go for it... and it would look hella cool.

you should be more than happy with two SX's, but if you wanna go top end I'd suggest the XXX's, but that will inevitably require upgrades in your electrical system, and yes either way you will be a hell of a lot louder than your current setup

I think im gonna go with 2 Sx's i see they are alot louder. will a Viper 2500.1 Be to much for it? or will 2 viper 1200.1's....... which would be better? And how much of a diffrence will 2 12's make compared to 2 15's. Also any help with box size and what to port it to would be alot of help. I wanna have Some SQ u know.... its still a daily driver at the end of the day.

Also what do ut hink the DB numbers would be juding that the box was ported to a reasonable Hz thats daily driveable like 35 maybe.

What brand are the XXX's and Sx's and Brahma? Never heard of them before I got on this site, but a lot of talk about them are they good, expensive. Chief

Brahma = Adire Audio = 1 of the 2 lowest distortion woofers on earth = loud = great sub

SX and XXX = Resonant Engineering

XXX uses the same technology the Adire brahma uses, and its more of an SQ sub that gets loud.

SX uses normal overhung motor design its more of an SPL sub thats sounds good.
