new mtx sledgehammers

the other day i heard my friends 2 sledgehammer 10's and he was only running 200 watts to them a piece just to show me that they hit even when they are being underpowered and man I was greatly impressed. im now thinking about getting two 12 sledgehammers because they hit really hard even when there being fed just a little power. id love to see what they do when they are being fed there rms power.

The mtx sledgehammer 10's i think the rms on them is 750 max is 1500

Yeah, you obviously haven't heard many bass systems if you think an MTX system "slams" The only MTX I would ever consider is the 9500 series...if so then alright but would still recomend something else

Ive heard many systems in reply to what u said echo. hell ive ran through plenty like kicker comps, l5's l7's jl which im not to impressed with and its not worth the money because at that price i guarantee i could buy somethin that would blow a jl out the water. and in my opinion yes i do believe sledgehammers hit.

yeah it is pretty darn impractical, actually quite stupid... but i like impractical stuff like the Audiobahn AWT34X ( 34" sub) the Jackhammer, and that sub that took up a whole friggin van.

omfg ur runnin audiobahns and laugh at l7's audiobahns dont even have sq. by the way who uses any audiobahn stuff in competitions. lmao. l7's would crush some audiobahns anyday and if u lived around my way i would show u how hard my l7's hit.

#1 My audiobahns are not the cheap audiobahns and do have SQ and SPL

#2 Im not running Audiobahn Subs anymore im running Treo's

#3 I am quite aware of L7's capabilities having done several installs with them.

#4 You wouldn't like for me to come around you and blow your 15"s out the water with with 10"s

lol and what 10's do u have. i wouldnt put it out of the question but i have run through several amps and the concepts one has performed great on my l7's. may i ask what amp and what kind of box were you using when you had your l7's. and i guarantee u wouldnt do so. And if you read around audiobahns get dogged so badly. and trust me i know then dont have sq they are just all noise. ive ran through two pairs of those. hey and if you dont believe me ask some other experts and i guarantee they will tell you the same. I havent heard of too many people if not any people at all using audiobahns in any competitions.

treos are great subs. i have 2 10" treo SS in my car in a 1 inch mdf box tuned to 40 hz. im not even providing them all the power they need and it still knocks.

treo subs are great but they do seem to break alot.

i want the crazy series the magnet is 96 pounds
