wouldn't mix subs like he said but hds has been said not best sq, vcw is a nice a*s sub love that cone.. yes FU 750 12" $169 could be loudest at that $ and made in usa (guy here has 8 destroyed his windshield).. what amp do u have? if u can put up pic of box i'm betting it's not a good ported box., but maybe u could make it work for 1 sub (cover sub hole) most dual boxes are about the right size for 1 sub, depends on alot of things but never know., either way may be better with 1 good sub..

Wow, thanks for the suggestions. Right now I am using Rockville RXD-M4 6000 Watt/3000w RMS Mono Class D with two Alpine type S drivers. The Sub I wanted to match was a Rockville W12K7-D4 but I can't find anymore. Also no it not a good ported box (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/metra-12-dual-ported-subwoofer-enclosure-black/4845648.p?skuId=4845648) sad but feels like it slappin a bit. So looks like the VCW's or the FU 750's are my best bet. So am I to understand you're saying the FU 750 rms Sub will pound harder than the VCW's? I haven't even heard of these subs so thanks for showing me something new. Also is the Massives just bad then?

RMS does not mean loud, it just means how much power you need to throw at it in order for it sound decent. You can have a 5000 rms sub not get loud at all on 250 watts and a 250 watt sub get louder since its fully powered.

For reference i used the FU 750 in my buddy's install, that 750 rms rating is a joke, throw 1500 rms on it and it'll beg for more.

I would also throw the american bass XFL in the mix.

ahh ok, I heard some companies under rate their product that's definitely good to know especially since you have hands on experience with them.
