need help badly

my friend just installed the Clarion vrx755 into his 2000 Dodge Dakota R/T with the infinity sound system. They hooked up every wire except for the blue and white one. He said that everything works perfectly but when he plays a DVD he's getting no sound from it and if he presses the isr button he'll get sound for a second and it will cut out. Any ideas anyone? I'm clueless on this and could use help asap.

sounds like you need to hook up your blue and white wire to the stock amplifier....

...you might have hooked up the solid blue wire on the wiring harness to the solid blue wire from the truck's harness....large mistake. the solid blue wire on the harness is for power antenna, the solid blue wire from the truck is the stock amp...switch that wire to the blue and white striped one.
