Im in trouble I have no clue what im doing and im afraid all im doing is throwing money at the problem. Currently I bought a new Pioneer DEH-P960MP deck (heres the link for you that are not aware of it Pioneer )
Since I work for bestbuy im currently trying to buy everything from there because of my nice discount on audio equipment (I know you guys might hate the place but it pays the bills for a college student). For now this is what i have put together for my deck and my 94 Honda Accord.
Front Speakers
Alpine Type-R Speakers
or someone told me 4-way would be better so im comtiplating if i should get these
Pioneer 4-way Speakers
I dont know the difference between 4-way, 3-way or 2-way.
For the back speakers i have the same problem but i have choosen these to match the front Alpine Speakers or again because of the 4-way dilemna these Pioneer Speakers
For the Sub I have choosen the Alpine Type-R 12" over this Rockford Fosgate 12" because someone said the max power of the Alpine would "bump" more than the Fosgate.
Finally for the amp I need some help im only looking to power the sub for now as I cant afford more than that for now but will ask in the future how to power them. People ive asked have varying opinions as some say get an amp thatll power better @4 ohms because thats what my sub is than looking for one that has more power @2 ohms. Meaning that i would get one that powers @4 ohms say 500W rms then @2 ohms 1000 rms (something like that). I can pretty much get anything on the best buy web site as they carry it in store except for this Kenwood Amp rms (something like that). I can pretty much get anything on the best buy web site as they carry it in store except for this Kenwood Amp which we dont have anymore. I was thinking I would need a mono channel subwoofer amp so next thing would be im guessing would be this Alpine Amp but again this is just throwing money at the problem.
Please I need desperate help and thanks to anyone who can help me. Again anything on the bestbuy site I can get or if someone knows of better setup for the deck on another audio selling site let me know. I have a $500 budget for this system not including the deck which I bought already. Thank you all again.
