im using 3 12in type r's my outside box dimensions are 51 3/4W x 17 1/2H x 14D and i want to port it should i use port tubes or a regular port? what length should i make it?

porting a box takes some calculations (as in, the port will depend on the volume inside the box)

You can either learn how to calculate a ported box (which is easy, there is a calculator stickied at the top of this forum section), to make a port inside the box.

OR

you can just figure out what the volume of that box is, and do an external port. An external PVC port would probably be your best bet with that box.

it was a box i used before so i just took it apart
