NEED HELP ASAP, deck wont turn on!

hi

i bought a pioneer deh-9200 on ebay a couple weks ago and finaly got around to installing it,, the HU is getting power and is grounded properly, everything is hooked up excpt for a couple wires i had no clue what they did, like "mute" "alarm" and "door switch". everyrhing else is hooked up, but the HU wont turn on, when i turn the key it makes a noise for a hlaf second than nothing, doesnt light up or open. is there some kind of sercurity syestem or something, or what, i have no clue what it could be,,can someone help me out here please.

did you try hit'ing any butt'ns like source or or power?

Break out the DMM. Check the B+ for constant 12V, Acc for switched 12V and make sure you have a good ground. If all those are good, and it still doesn't work, you may have been taken.
