subwoofer switch

I want to make a switch so I can turn off my subs at a moments notice (police mainly) and I was thinking I could make a switch that would control the remote wire. I'm sure someone else has a similiar system...

yep...jus wire a switch on the remote and your set.....of course the volume control works very well for this as well...heh.....

dont u have a ATT button on ur HU? i just use that...

yeah.. i do have a mute button, but something about a switch is pretty sick, plus I dont think I will be listening to all my music w/ my subs...

yeh, i suppose have a on-ff for ur amp isnt a bad idea... i have a sub- on/off on my HU, not sure if all of them have that feature..
