NEED HELP AQ 2200 on mtx 9512

well i have had my system for a while now and i just recently got a aq2200 and got a brand new woofer refurbished from mtx and it sounds like if u turn it any higher then like super super low it gets really distorted and makes a rattling and sound like hollow or something ive had the same power wire and rca's ran for a while the only thing i changed was wiring the woofer back up and new amp other then that everything was workin when the woofer died last time and now i changed the woofer to a 10" l7 and it is making the same noise is it the wiring or the amp or what ?

i have no idea i let my friend mess with it while i was at work cuz he is pretty good i told him to take it home and see if it could move his woofer i should get it back tommorw so what do you think would be an ideal setting?

depends what ur box is tuned at...
