need help about a HiFonics BX1500D!!!

what do the following controls do? check this out. wat are all those settings about. where is the gain control? wat is the balanced input, sub sonic, bass eq, low pass, phase, level? wat do those exactly do?

just answere my questions and i wouldn have to.

gain control = level, balanced input is for line drivers, subsonic filter is so your sub doesnt play below your box tuning frequency, bass eq adjusts bass boost and is not a good thing to turn up all the way, low pass filters high frequencies , phase adjustment is for fine tuning (dont mess with it unless you know what you are doing), level=gain
