Need GOOD quality 600watt amp.

Ok i need a new good quality amp to run my alpine type-r subs. I need at least a solid 600watts. There both DVC2 and the final ohm load will be 2ohm's. I need a better quality amp than the HiFonics BX1500D. Also what would the price range i would be looking at for this type of amp?

Well, I have a JBL BP600.1. Rated at 600wrms at 2 ohms, everywhere I see something about it they say it puts out a lot more than what its rated at. I got mine refurbed for 150 bucks at cardomain. They dont have them anymore but thats about what they go for on ebay. I have know idea if they are the quality of Hifonics, or if they are better or what, but for 150 bucks it rocks. I like mine anyway,

well im getting mine back soon after it having internal problems...if it works they way it should then ill keep it...any1 have any suggestion on how to set the setting on the amp? here is a pic of it

Ok well for that I'd set it on LPF. Turn your LPF dial to 80 hz or so. Refer to the gain setting tutorial to set your gain. And if it still has internal problems, then think about getting yourself a Kicker KX600.1.

look into either the xtant 6.1 or the diamond d5 600.1, maybe even that zapco reference 500.1 or if you want to get relly crazy, the zapco c2k 4.0x does 300x2 bridge at 4 ohms.

I suggested a Kicker KX600.1 because it's not a budget amp, nor is it an uber-expensive high end amp. I assume that a guy with a couple Type-Rs is not looking to spend $350+ on an amp for them.

diamond d5 600.2 is about $380 online. the zapco ref which is an awesome amp is about $375 online.

Yes, that is alot of money. There is absolutely no need to spend that kind of money on a top-of-the-line amp when you're not even running high end subs. Kicker KX600.1 can be had for under $300.00 and it will definitely get the job done.

I've seen the kicker kx600.1 on ebay for about $250... Sounds pretty good to me. I'm looking into getting one in the coming months.

those are both high quality amps. those are both to as top of the line as you will get for under 500.

ok...im thinking about the JBL amps...what model would suit me...and arnt the JBL BP1200.1 discontinued. that amp looked like what i wanted to get...since they dont make them any more i cant. or am i wrong? yes i want a new one to.

actually you can get a dls a6(mono-a/b 1+1200@1ohm) cant beat that plus its a a/b amp clean-not dirty d class!!!

it will run u about 539.00- u want power-want it to sound kickas$? then get the da-mn dls. it will kill all those amps listed above!! rock on dude!!!!!!
