need good CLEAN, accurate, SQ amp to run 2 IDQ 10" subs

As for mono versus 2-channel, it really doesn't matter since you should bridge the 2-channel amplifier for subwoofers anyways.
I haven't ordered the IDQ's yet but I'm probably gonna get the dvc at 4 ohm. That way I can use a amp at a 2 ohm load.

why can't I just run it in 2 channel mode if I have 2 channels already?

probably getting 2 10"s.

I'd like to get a single 12" to save space but affraid that one 12" in a sealed enclosure won't give me the power I need.

what u think?

yo dude you wanna have 2dvc subs wire to 2ohm mono you need dual 2ohm subs not dual 4ohm subs. dual4's will get you a 4ohm mono, 16ohm, or 1ohm load for a pair of them. dual 2's will get you a 2ohm mono load in which case i have heard that setup with a zapco 360 and also with a Memphis 500/1 both fantastic amps.

I hae not heard about a posibile 16"er, but the sub freaks like me will remember that Audiomoile makes a 16"er sub called the M16, but it has not really taken of due to the price and lack of testing or exposure
