Need Good Advice On Batteries

so i have 2 sundownsX-15s versions 2 on a 9.5cubic box on a saz-5000 1 ohm ... this things hit hard but seems like this guys are asking for more .... i have 400 dollars to pick on a good battery ... my electrical is a 240 mechman big 3 D31T yellow top up front 2 runs to back Another 3 D31T Yellow optimas and my voltage drops from 14.4 cold to 13.2-0 idk if that is bad on 22-28 hz songs ... you guys think if i get better batteries i can get more power from amp or should i save more money and buy a bigger amp?

That isn't bad voltage drop honestly. You could add a Duracell AGM group 31 from Sam's club cheap and add more runs to the back. If you upgrade your amps, you'll obviously get worse voltage drop. If you're limited to a 240 amp alt, I wouldn't go bigger. Other people run more with less though :shrug:

I usually way overkill electrical. Can't have too much!

should i remove the last battery and buy a northstar 480 i think the one that handles 3-5 k and put it at last and connect my saz-5000 from that battery and just add 3 more runs to back to be in-total 5 runs ? you think that would help my voltage much better ?

Adding battery's you might see a gain of .2db lol... that voltage drop isn't bad at all. Is the voltmeter hooked right up to the amp?

yes i have 2 volt meters " stinger " 1 for fromt battery that goes from 14.4 to 13.8 and the 2nd volt meter to the amp 14.4 to 13.2 .... i just see rhe subs asking for more power lol i was thinking of sending my alternator mechman to mike singer to make it a 320 and add a voltage regulator i think to charge cold starts at 15.3 .... my truck computer controlls voltage on my ford f150 it ***** then my voltage when it gets warm it charges instead of 14.4 goes 13.4 lol but when bass hits drops 12.5 so maybe my best part is to get a higher alternator

What amp is good to push them more not to its limits ... any brazilian amps that are good ? taramps 8k? with my electrical can i handle it ?
