Need feedback/tips on a new dual 15" box design

Hi all,

So after much deliberation I decided since this is my first box to time/expense/difficultly is a factor, I will just build a sealed box.

I have 2 15" Rockford Fosgate P1S415's and a mono amp. I am going to bridge both of these subs onto the amp at 400w. (don't second guess this, this part is non-negotiable and already purchased)

I am thinking about making the sealed rectangle box 42" wide, 18" height, and 10" depth. Giving me a box volume of around 3.16 in^3 (optimal, according to RF). I am just going to center the two subs in the box side by side.

Does this sound good? Anyone have any feedback or ideas or hints?

Also, what is a good source for carpet and terminal cups? (Radioshack and Walmart don't seem to have them, and I really dont want to have to order anything else)

What about mounting the amp to the back of the box? any tips/hints/suggestions/gotchas I need to know about?

Thanks for any advice I can get!
