you'll like the new one alot better. what are those?

what are what? and another question i have the wireing kit i got was http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3938_Kicker+CK4.html and i got my system installed at a audio place but my question is this kit came with rca cables and my headunit the deh-1800 didnt have rca jacks so they either got some kinda adapter or cut the rcas off of the wiring and spliced it in or something or they used a adaptor.. so my question is if i want my subs to work when i get this headunit do i need to buy new rcas wireing or can i still use the one i got with the amp kit and how would i still be able to use it? thanks

so they didnt cut the rca connectors off of the side that goes to my headunit so there still there to where i can just plug them into the back of the new headunit? can you explain to me how i would do it or what i need to do? thanks so i dont need to buy new ones?

that is a LOC and as you can see the rca cables would plug into that then the wires would be attached to the old head unit. Once your new head unit gets installed you wont need it any more so you they will just unplug it and plug the same rca cable into your new hu.

oh ok so then theres no way they could of hooked it up if they didnt use one of those? and this new headunit is newer and better technology does that mean ill get better bass and sound quality with it cuz it has sub outputs and sub level controls and a 7band equalizer which my unit dont have... and im sorry i keeping asking about the rca cables i was just afraid they might of cut off the connector jacks to the headunit completly off and somehow hooked it up.... so i guess without that adapter sinse it will be straight rca to rca jack it will sound better to right?

I would hope they didn't cut the ends of the rca cable off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif but I wouldn't put it past some shops as some of those guys are nothing but crooks, but most likely they used a LOC like pictured above. For as it sounds, I think it would sound a lot better, I went from an old JVC deck to a pioneer 7500mp and it sounds a lot better. I would imagine it would sound a lot better but I don't know enough about head units to know why.

so then there is a possibility that they did cut the ends off though??? cuz if they did would that mean i would have to buy new rca cables? cuz that would really piss me off if they did cut the ends off...

well there is always that possibility if you don't know exactly what they did //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif but if they have even a slightly working brain they would have just used a loc.

If you're concerned about sound quality, I'd work on getting an amplifier on those speakers...and losing the 6x9's...and sound deadening thoroughly...and well I could continue //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

why should i lose the 6x9's they sound great 6x9's is all my car can hold beside 3 and a half inch dash speakers....

why u saying 6 and a half inch speakers sound better than 6x9's? but i just wanna know if they did cut the rca plugs off then how do i hook it up to the headunit so where it sounds just as good as if i had them??
