would an mtx tc8001 thunder 2400 watt mono amp power those fine?

if not, could you tell me what i should be looking for as far as wattage for those. point me to one amp or two amps that could run those together? im quite new to this.

According to the specs that box is only rated for 600 watts. 2400 watts would be much more power than you need.

i'd have to agree, but i dont know how you would get 3 mtx subs to 4 ohms though. that'd be a tricky one imo.

i think i have been confused this whole time. its 600 watts rms for the whole sub enclosure correct? so i wouldnt need anything over 1000 watts? can anyone point me to a good amp to power these at 4ohms?

Just set the gain for how much power you need, you'll still be safe.

That amp probably does rated power so it should work fine on that enclosure. No need to by 1000 watts if you only need 500 or so.
