Need Entire System Recommendations

Hey whats up guys

I just had my entire headunit stolen from my car about 2-3 days ago, when I left my windows down and was gone for 2 hours.

I didnt have any subs or amps in the car as I never got around to upgrading the system aside from some pioneer speakers in the front doors, and the jvc deck.

The car:

1990 Nissan 300ZX

Anyways, Im not that pissed off at getting it stolen, was partly my fault, but it gives me a reason to not put off upgrading the system. (not to say i wouldnt cut off the biotches balls and make him eat them if i caught him)

Whats a good headunit out at this time? What amp will go well with it? I want to get 2x12's for the car.

As you can see its a hatchback so I'll need a bandpass enclosure most likely.

oh and a couple months ago i bought my friend some rockford fosgates with an amp at best buy for $1500 after taxes and installation, and they were hitting pretty hard... i dont need a comp setup, just something thatll bang the **** out of my car and anyone near it.

Alpine HU are awesome IMO. Count yourself lucky that is all you got stolen! My dad (electrical engineer) is making me a car "alarm" that shocks people! Lets see them try to steal my new system. Check out Resonant Engineering! And I suggest Hifonics amps or Audiobahn, yes I said Audiobahns. There is a thread somewhere that lists all the pricing for RE, and DO NOT get a bandpass. Ported box tuned low. You can get an Alpine HU they give you tons of RCA outputs mine had 3, and you have subwoofer control that is one of the greatest things on earth. Mine was only 190 or so, and I got it from Circuit City, but did not let them install it, even though it was free. They also have very high preout voltages, which I guess is better, I never noticed a difference. Hopefully my ramblings may have helped my fellow NISMO driver
