ok, well i sold my Ipod a few weeks ago, and then i dropped my laptop and the screen shattered....well i got a new one, and i need the music off of my old laptop, but i dont know how to do it...

is it possible to transfer the music over to my new laptop??

uh have a professional remove the hard drive and salvage the data..

or get the screen replaced..

Easiest way is going to be buy an external hard drive enclosure (check http://www.newegg.com), pull the old drive out of your laptop (very easy) and install it into the enclosure and then plug it into the USB of your new PC and copy everything over

Yep, your best bet is the enclosure, and plug the hdd into it outta the broken lappy (they're not hard at all to take out), copy over

u can also hook up the laptop to an external monitor...

if u need to work on it for some reason

should have a VGA plug on on the back somewhere

yup just plug the cord going from a montior to a desktop into your laptop and hit the fn+f7 (atleast on my laptop) and it will display everything on the other monitor... then you can save all the music to dvds
