so you are telling the OP that 2 single 4Ω voice coil subs will wire down to a 1Ω load if done on 1 channel? read is a 4 letter dirty word.

so save the 2 channel amp for the speakers, trash the monsoon amp, and get a mono amp for the subs that can be wired to 2 ohms?

if I were in your position, I'd get a nice set of components up front and put that 2 channel on those and get a nice small mono amp like Cadence F700 (getting use to plugging companies for my future build log, CADENCE F700-1 1600 WATT CLASS AB MONO-BLOCK AMPLIFIER | eBay) to push what you got. that cadence will do rated, not sure of what speaker you currently have but considering their SVC 4Ω subs probably entry level and only have a 150-200 watts RMS rating. that amp will allow you to upgrade subs if you so choose but still power the subs you have right now with out breaking the bank.

forgive my level of inexperience, but how are speakers wired in a normal car? to the head unit right?
