Need cell phone help

don't know, but knowing Verizon, if it's not a phone they currently offer or have offered in the past I doubt it will work. Are you stuck in a contract? If so, look for a Motorola E815, I have had mine for about 2 months and am pretty happy with it, but cingular has all the cool phones.

Yea.

Well Im a little wary of getting the E815.

I have a v710 currently and.... well....

That phone is a disaster. I lost it, but have insurance on it, so I can get a new one for $50.

CDMA phones can not be unlocked, at least to my knowledge. All the info is hardcoded into the phone and not in the SIM. Only GSM phones can be unlocked and universally used between the GSM providers.

if you are with verizon, stick to getting the E815 (moto), sammy 850 or 870 (the 850 is better IMO), or the LG9800. . . there is an LG that you can get from a reseller that doesnt use the verizon UI, but the model # eludes me right now. verizon ui = sh!t . . . if i could get it off my 850 i would in a second!

it was not an LG phone, it is a nokia...

reviews aren't that great, and it has a nokia menu, but it does have full bluetooth (not crippled by verizon like the rest of their lineup)
