need box ideas for old school 10" single kicker

my old kicker is in a TINY box, less than a cft im sure.. dont have measurements in front of me..

but it sounds GREAT on my 2150x mtx amp, until i get to about 1/3 volume then it starts to drowned out

its flappin like nuts, and i just think its in too small of a box..

anyone have ideas for a good box for this sub?

otherwise ill trade my friend for his diamond D4 10" in a box already .. he wants the kicker, i think its a better sub thoough..

its a 4ohm i think C series

I had my 8 ohm C10s in 1.5 cubic feet each... SEALED! I ran them that way from 1993 to 1996. If it is a 10 from that era, keep in mind that it can only handle 300 watts RMS!

Actually, the 4 ohm version of that sub models pretty well in 1.3 cubic feet tuned to 31 Hz.....

yeah im a moron... forgot to hook up both sides of the high fid. inputs.. ****! lol... much better now, but still seems to be gaspin for room to breath..

maybe ill fill the box a lil.. i need to figure out how to get a box for CHEAP ...

What line is it? Solo, XPL, Comp????

When you say C series, do you mean.... C10a, or S10c? Where is the C at? The C stands for comp, the c stands for the year.

That will aslo help in determining what box.

So long as those aren't solobarics & aren't the newer ones (formed cones), you wanna go with 1.5-1.7 cu.ft. sealed for the best sound.
