Need box design help

Hello,

Currently I have one type X in a sealed box but it's not as loud as I thought it would be. This is my first audio build. So now I'm going to upgrade to another X. I'm also going to go with a ported box.

What would be the best box for two type x's in a ported box?

Something as simple as 4 cubes tuned to 28hz? I'm new to this if you haven't noticed. thanks.

3.25 ft cu each ported at 32hz two aero ports for each sub. 1200 watts rms to each sub and you will love it. I did a lot of playing around the the type x a few years ago. Alpine's box specs are way off if you want to get your money worth out of the subs.

im not sure if i would go with 3.25 cu ft each... sounds too big.. then again you said you messed around with them and i havent.. the biggest i would go with those 10's would be 2.25 cubic ft per sub and tune it to about 34 hertz with about 85 square inches of port.. a little less would be alright too.i wouldnt go under 60
