Need Box Design: 05 Impala - 2 12" 08 L7's

Hey there, this will be my first box Ive ever made. I have all the tools and general idea, just need help with the design that will help me get the most out of my subs(2 12" Kicker L7s).

I want to go with a slot port box, unless you think circular ports will give better spl. I dont need trunk space, I am willing to sacrifice. Except for display/show reasons, I mount my amps/caps in the front of my trunk to show them off. The subs go directly behind that.

Any help you could give me, would be greatly appreciated. I just need help on where to start at, blueprint, design, anything really...

I was just going to have one built, but I was quoted at $120 + parts. I figured might as well save some money and give it an attempt myself.

Materials(Let me know what else I will need, if I missed anything):

3/4" MDF

Liquid Nails

1.5" or 2" Drywall Screws

Speaker Terminals

Black Carpet

I would use titebond II (or III...but II dries faster and its very comparable in strength) wood glue over liquid nails any day...

And tonight if I have time I can PM you a design or two sketched-up if you still need one
