I've seen the birthsheets for the 3 1200.1KX's in my kicker dealer's demo truck. They were all in the 1540-1560 range. I haven't seen any for the BD1500 though. Hope that helps.

It looks like both amps produce more or less the same power.

my personal preference would be RF's, and they LOOK better than kicker amps. The heat from the amp might help to warm up your car's interior quicker. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

1720w?? wow, I love rockfords...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Oh, but it will draw a substantial amount of current, I'd believe..

Originally posted by nswartley i dont understand why they call it 1200.1 then. its dumb. but its not even a cheater amp so thats also dumb.

well, would you rather it put out 1000w? I woudn't.. lol.

i personally think it's better when companies underrate their equipment, because you KNOW that your getting at least the rated power.
