I am having problems with one of my tweeters, see sig for equipment.

The speakers sound fine when I start playing them... after driving around for a while usually 30-45 minutes one of them begins to break up/crackle no matter what the volume level.

If I shut everything off for a little while and turn it back on it sounds fine. The sound it makes when breaking up could possibly sound like a loose connection/wire....Ive checked and rechecked the wires though.

If a speaker is blown its going to sound like its blown all the time.....any ideas ?

xover over heating maybe. Otherwise make 100% sure your crimp connector fit tightly on the speaker terminals. I had the same issue with a tweeter last week after reinstalling it. Would crackle at higher volumes. The POS terminal connection was connected, but was pretty loose.
