I am getting a Kicker 1000-1 amp with 2 Kicker 10" L7 Subwoofers, and will this be louder than 2 Focal 13" subwoofers and powered by a 600-1 JBL amp.

and No, 10inches wont be louder, and they will infact sound worse than his, not a great combo if you're looking to compete with him. I know Joshes setup, and I HIGGHLYY doubt 10in kickers will be louder. His shit is loud. Granted you're right by the subs, but still, it gets loud.

Get 12's, and btw, dont get it at cartoys. If you need help, have Josh call me.

Josh thanks it will be the same me and him were just talkin about it and I now the same about sub as him. Plus I am NOT going to get my system at cartoys cuz they are the biggest rip off. About the 12" L7's I wont be about to fit them into my truck. I am going to have them installed in my truck in about 3 weeks so we will have to wait and see.

The l7's have output, but they won't sound nearly as good as joshes, or get as loud. I can almost guarantee it.

What kind of box you putting them in?

Well how much room do you have, you're putting it in a regular cab truck right?

If you're putting 2 in there, you might have room for a port, depends. And are you going to put the amps under your seats?

Yeah I am think bout puttin the amp under the seat, I got some room back there behind the seats. You think the 10" L7's will be louder than my 10" W3's.

Yeah, I think they should be louder. Kicker 10's, because they're square ( l5's and l7's ), are like circular 12's But Yeah, they should be louder than w3's.

thanks josh says there is going to be so much bass I wont be able to hear any speaker, All I will hear will be bass from the subs.

Probably, you have stock speakers still? Joshes speakers are alright, but he has them running off an amp, so they're louder because they have more power. Espescially in a truck, you probably wont be able to hear much of your speakers. yeah i got the same speakers as him infinitys but mine arent amped up yet.

Then you prolly have the same speakers as me ( or close enough ). you'll be able to hear some highs and mids, but a lot offfff bass.

I'm gettin a 700$ componet set aroud December, and they should keep up with my frontstage pretty nicely.
