need an explination

ok ive been lookin on these forums alot and i here all about ohms, wrms, max output/input, all that stuff and its confusing me. i would like a good explination or a link to a page that will explain it for me. i dont understand how all the wiring works like if i have 2 12" subs running at 2 ohms i wire them at 'x' or stuff like that any explination or help would be much appreciated.
