ok ill prolly be wiring these up as a 1 ohm load, because there dual voice coil at 4 ohms.. and going by this...:

how much power can they take? What about an amp that does power at a 4 ohm load?

According to the Pioneer website it says that those subs can take 350watts rms.

If your wanting an amp that puts out 700watts at 4 ohms, that will be a pretty big amp for example

Most amps work similar to this

700watts at 4ohms

1400watts at 2 ohms

2600watts at 1 ohm or some variation of this

I have a similar power requirement as of right now and I use a JL 1000.1

I don't know what kind of money crunch you are on but this amp is different in that it is

1000w at 4 ohms

1000w at 3 ohms

1000w at 2 ohms

1000w at 1.5 ohms It will not support a 1 ohm load

If you did go with that amp you would want to set you gain correctly using a voltmeter so you don't overpower your subs. I got mine for a little over 600 dollars off of ebay.

You could probably find the hifonics mentioned earlier on ebay for around 150 or so (just guessing)

A pair of Dual 4 Ohm drivers can be wired for 4 Ohms as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

If you think of it only in the terms of a monoblock running at its highest impendence load, maybe. Consider for a moment a bridged 2-channel amp......

It's not 700 watts.....it's 600 when bridged, but see here and look at the very first amp on the page, the Clarus CL800. $87 plus shipping so for around $100/shipped you're looking at adequate power with a valid warranty. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
