I dont like my viper 771....basically the same as the 791 except it has the LED remote not the LCD. The range on it sucks, it might be my tint or windshield material from what I have heard, but my friend's Prestige alarm range is great. If i had to get an alarm again, I would get Compustar

python 990 or viper 5900(i think) are deis new alarms/rem start systems that have much better range than the older ones.

Dont really need the remote start but its still a nice alarm

I have the compustar in my charger. Most likely the best investment for that car I have done to date. Kind of annoying since its so sensitive, but better the keypad go off then you get your shit jacked..

i use the 791xv. but that was because the only shop in town that did installs carried it exclusively. brands are almost equal, the difference is the install

I have a warlock wsr-2 alarm. Its a little cheaper than the viper and works fine for me. I am getting ~ a half mile range.

whats the difference between the one i posted and this one??? there a difference in price but im not sure what the difference is between a 1 and 2 way... never messd with alarms
