Need Amps For 2 sets of Infinity KAPPA682.7CF and 2 KAPPA PERFECT 12DVQ

I am in the hunt for a couple new amps for my system. I just got a new SUV and I am rebuilding my system except for my hu which is a Pioneer DEH-P7800MP. I have already purchased the speakers and now I need Amps.

I want one 4-Channel amp for the 6x8s which are 2ohm and one 2-channel or mono amp for the 2 12" subs but on this amp I want a defeatable sub sonic filter or none at all. The subs are Dual 4ohm VC so the only way I can get 2ohm is in 2 channel, would go mono if it had enough juice with a 4ohm load or was 1 ohm stable.

What I am really going for here is sound quality, but as always within my budget.

I was originally thinking of using an Infinity REF7541A for the 6X8's and a I really have no idea on what sub amp to get, I just want it to be able to go really low.

Brand Choices would be Infinity, Rockford, Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer. I work for a place that sells these, so I am able to get a little bit of a discount.

Anyway any input or suggestions would be super as I am kinda in the dark on this one.

P.S. if you have any suggestions other then brands I listed I was looking to spend a max of $500 between the two amps.

Well the 6x8's are:

Power Handling, RMS 100 Watts

Power Handling, Peak 300 Watts

Sensitivity 94dB

Frequency Response 40Hz - 25kHz

Impedance 2 Ohms

The Subs are:

400W RMS/1600W MAX

Sensitivity 92db

Dual 4 ohm VC

Yeah those are really nice amps but they are a little out of my budget.

I was thinking more like this or a comparable Infinity or Alpine for the 6x8's.

Rockford fosgate P450.4

And something like the Rockford Fosgate P850.2 or something comparable from Infinity or Alpine.

I guess it would be wise for me to say that I am going for SOUND QUALITY not QUANTITY.

When I asked if anyone esle had any suggestions, I hope it didn't seem like I was not overlooking PhyPhoestilic's suggestions, the Arc amp looks like it would be pretty sweet. However I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with any of the Infinity, Alpine, or RF Punch series amps and could enlighten me.

PhyPhoestilic, thanks for the imput, the Arc amps are now on my list of maybes, I had actually never heard of them before.

Any thoughts on the JBL GTO series like JBL GTO 75.4II?

Very nice and capable amps that won't break the bank account.

A 75.4II would be a nice fit for what you are describing as your needs. There's also the Infinity Reference 7541a amp. Unfortunately, their mono amps are not 1 Ohm stable.

So I ordered the Jbl 75.4II amp from cardomain, so I now have an amp for my 6x8's, now to find one for the subs.

I plan on having the box tuned to about ~18hz, its 9ft^3, so I am probably going to want an amp with a higher damping factor so the bass is still tight and clean. Any suggestions on that one?
