need amplifer for OZ Audio Power Series 4k+ rms? Orion 2500d? .5ohm?

Ive got 2 OZ Audio Power series subs and they each are 4k rms and 8k peak. What amp would be the best for this sub? I only plan on running 1 (the 15). Would a 2500D running @ .5ohm suffice? Can a 2500D do .5ohm daily? What would I have to buy to upgrade my electrical system to accomodate such a powerful amplifier?

2500d will run .5 daily but you will have to upgrade alt., do the big 3 and probably and extra battery

well in theiry it should produce 5000 rms but you probaly see 4500 out of it at .5 ohm then incorperate impedence rise and you will see how much power your sub will get

No need to upgrade your alt if you have a decent car. Batteries are $150+. I'd suggest upgrading to a deep cycle battery such as a yellow top.

And can I ask where you pulled this theory from?

Did the theory fairy fly by and you just got lucky with such a stroke of genious such as you've posted above?

Please tell me you don't actually help people install a system or even attempt to give them directions?

This theory must also fall in line with running eight 100 amp fuses in line to get the 800 amps of fuse you wanted??

I have lots of pics in my thread in the Classifieds, I have a brand new 15 and 12 for sale.

I need something to put out 4000 continuous watts RMS and what electrical upgrades will I have to purchase. The 2500D will only do 3000? Whats the point of running .5ohm then?
