You're not going to be able to tell the difference between 1800 and 2000. You could go with 1500 and still be fine.

There should be an audible difference between 2000w and 1500w.

Which is why he said 2000w OR 1800w, doesnt matter to him because there wont be a big difference.

... is the rule of thumb not double the power, add the dB's? Since he isn't adding another 1500w between 1500w and 2000w, there isn't going to be much difference. Maybe I'm out of line and retarded...
