Need Amp Suggestions Please.

Hey, I'm currently on the hunt for TWO amps, one to power a 12" Dayton HO sub, and the other to power a pair of JBL P660C component speakers. However, I need it to be under $250, preferably $200. Does anyone have any specific suggestions/recommendations? Even brands will work. I am open to buying used, but you will have to sell me on it.

I'm currently thinking about a American Bass SQ500, and an American Bass VFL-Hybrid 1880.1D, any thoughts?

No fuses on that amp. Ill believe it when I see it. They have some good reviews, But that's one small amp for 900watts. Interesting. Means the fuse is in the wire only kit for that amp or internal. Personally I be kinda iffy on no fuses on a amp externally. Probably have to cool the FU@@ out of it if it actually can do it.

Clear now 20amp fuse your looking around 175watt rms max clean power and I may be overstating.

50x2 @ 4, no good.

You want a min of 100 per channel

My bad, yes. Both those amps no good.

That ho is rated 700 rms.

Specs on that 1800 are

RMS @ 4 ohm 245w x 1

RMS @ 2 ohm 450 w x1

RMS @ 1 ohm 900w x1

.....

agreed with caleb Just keep looking. Keep in mind if you want real rms power with your rms handeling subwoofer always look at the amps power draw and what its fused at. A real 500watt amp will be fused at 60amp and nothing less. Never ever believe in peak power, all that is, is dirty power spikes that hit your sub from a cheaply built amp. Take my 500watts = 60amp draw and do the math from there. never ever go by peak power.
