Need amp recommendation

Here is a list of amps available that I could find in my price range. --$225 Viper 1200.1 700x1@2ohms , $225 Hifonics BX1000D 700x1@2ohms , $214 Hifonics BX1205D 900x1@2ohms , $185 Alpine M650 600x1@2ohms , $142 Alpine M450 400x1@2ohms , $about 150 dollars used off e-bay$ MTX 801D 500x1@2ohms. ---All these are mono amps , because my dual 4 ohm type-r sub will be wired for 2 ohms.---Any recommendations???

The type-r sub is rated for 500 watts rms, So should I get the alpine m450 that puts out 400 watts so that I don't hurt or overpower the sub?? OR should I get something that puts out a little more wattage?? Just don't want the sub to be overpowering.

Wouldn't the viper be too much power for a type-r?? Viper is rated at 700 watts @ 2 ohms and the type-r is rated at 500 watts which will be wired for 2 ohms.

The viper is a refurb. Is a refurb just as good as a new one? Also does anyone know the measurements (Width x Length x Height) on the viper 1200.1?? Can't find them anywhere and I have limited space.

What do you think about the MTX 801D?? It looks like it is a lot smaller than the viper 1200 . Not sure if the viper will fit under my seat but the mtx will definitely fit. I got it narrowed down to these 2 amps, but just not sure if the viper will fit.
