alright this is what i want to do, i would like to compete spl wise. and i know that for this, your amp needs a subsonic filter, and i wanted the jbl 1200.1, ( which does NOT have a subsonic filter ) so i was thinking if i got this amp, and wanted to compete, couldi get a audio control EQ WITH a subsonic filter and still be able to compete? would this work or is it better to just get an amp with one?

agreed, the 1200.1 isnt too good on the facilities side of things.

your bets bet is a class D amp, more efficient is only one of the benefits. an mtx8100d will give you around 1750RMS@2ohm, but if you wanna compete then a) BIG ported box b) BIG port area c) BIG power (jtm's 3B rule for SPL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif )......

so for c) i would get something like a memphis mojo, crossfire 2000d, maybe even a viper 2500.1 but they are quite expensive when compared to the price of like 2 8100d's whoch can be had for around $350 on ebay..........one on each L7 will push big numbers, although be careful with the gain ig giving the mtx's full potential power....

which L7s are they, what are independece are the coils?
