i need an amp that puts out around 1500 watts at 3 ohms. or could i buy an amp and bridge it? each vc is 1.5 ohms. i know everyone hates jl but please help me out. thank you

Why don't you wire it in parallel and put a sundown 1500 on it. It should handle the .75 load without any problems, and you won't have to spend 800 bucks.

a 2000d would be to much at .75 correct? also i couldnt run a 1000/1v2 since they hsve the rips thing where it puts out 1000 at 1.5-4 ohms

Ok I decided to go with the sundown. Do I need to put a fuse on the power cable? The manual isn't clear. It says I need one if I were to get the 3000d put not the 1500 because the 1500 has 4x40 amp fuses but later down themanual it says it is a must to match the power cable fuse to the same as the fuse in the amp so Do i need a 160 amp fuseson the power cable or not at all? Is this a better amp then the 1000/1v2 jl amp? Mysub can handle 1500 will it be able to handle the extra watts since I am going to .75 ohm. Thanks a lot for the help

yes it will be fine, you will love it, and no it has built in fuses no need for a inline, 2 be honest i didnt realize it is 500, i would look around. i would sell you my mmats 3500.05 for 500

noob im no noob been in car audio for 10 years, i thought i selected a refurb one,

saz1500d at .75 and call it a day, mine has been running at .5 ohm daily and never has an issue.

it would probably be right on 1500 watts. how would i adjust the gain so i dont bottom the sub out? like on the jls you use a voltmeter and turn the gain up until you hit a certain number of volts. is there a chart like this for the saz-1500d
