Need amp for 1 and 2 ohm setups

Hey, I am going to have 2 8L7's that need about 650W at 2 ohms. (together). and my other system will consist of 1 SX requiring around 1000-1200 Watts. I was looking at a Viper 1200.1 I can get for $230. It says 1200W @ 1 ohm and 800 @ 2 ohms. That is really close to what Im looking for. I have heard good things for them, are they over rated at all? And it $230 good for a a refurb? Thanks.

those viper amps are good amps. if it's a factory refurbed amp then it is as good as new. they use new and updated parts, and they go through better inspections before they leave the factory. you can also look into a pg tantrum 1200.1. it does the same power at 2-4 ohms and if you can wire your sub at 1 ohm you can wire it at 4 ohms.

Thanks for the help, The reason Im askin for the 1 and 2 ohm thing is because Im getting a dual 2 ohm VC sub for one setup, and two dual 2 ohm VC subs for another setup.
