Need amp choosing help

Ok so I got someone willing to sell me this amp with these subs.

AMP = Crunch PZI2250 1000W 2/1 Ch Bridgeable Car Amplifier

I can get both the subs and amp together for $150 together. This is my first system and I know the amp isn't that great, but is it still worth getting for only $150 with the speakers? If it's garbage, are there any better recommendations out there?

Also as a quick question, a big 3 upgrade would be a good idea, correct?

well since they say the rms of the subs is 50-400 and that amp is probably only putting out 500 its a decent match. the big three is really not needed but hell go for it. And for $150 if its your first system its a decent start i guess. Try to talk him down a little bit.
