Need alot of help building a system.

I know this has been done to death, but I call upon the great minds of CA.com to help me choose a really nice, and loud, daily system. My goals are more geared toward SPL, but I also want a good bit of SQ, and have a budget of about $2k to achieve this with.

Here is a list I've made that I'm 99% sure I'm going to go with, unless someone can convince me otherwise.

Alpine CDA-9887 (hu) $349.00

Phoenix Gold RSd65cs (components) $129.00

Crunch GP2150 (component amp) $99.00

Crunch GP3000D-Pro (sub amp) $449.00

Fi 15" BTL (sub) $430.00 (not sure if I need d1 or d2?)

Iraggi 220A alt $340.00

Still not sure where to get the box, where it should be tuned at, and how many cubes it should be. I mostly listen to rap/hip hop.

Also, what would be the optimal box placement to reduce rattles and still keep audible output high?

The car this will be going into is a 2001 Monte Carlo if that makes a difference.

I'd really like some solid replies on this since I plan on making this purchase in the next week or so.

I know. I was just hoping that a good front stage would make up for the BTL's lack of good SQ.

although a BTL is an SPL sub it does have the ability to be musical.

Maybe the new sundown hightshade? PM Sundownz and ask him about it.

What about that setup? Do you guys think that would get pretty loud when tuned to 32hz or so?

diffrent amps, buy them used. You could get a used orion 2500d for that price ofthe crunch. It depends on your coil type too. I personaly would run:

15" BTL D2 Fully loaded

Orion 2500d at 1 ohm

If you throw in a kenetics 2400 and change the irragi to an HO alt, I think you could safely drop the orion down to .5ohm (would need D1) and that sub would love it as long as you know when to back off, being new you might not be ready for .5ohm though. The lower the Impedance the more stress you will have on the amp but an Orion will be able to handle it, giving the sub around 3000w RMS maybe a little more and a BTL will take it fine.

Also A Kicker ZX2500.1 + D1 BTL's seem to be a popular combo. Also a nice set up and that amp can be had for around that price used to.

Do you have any links to the HO alt you're talking about? I know I've seen similar performing alts for cheaper than the Iraggi.

Also, what about the Hifonics BXi2608D? I've seen those run a BTL pretty efficiently.
