ok so im slowly working on my car audio and starting out with my mid's and highs first and then movin to the bass (subs and huge **s amps) but right now i need some advice ok here it goes i just recently got a kenwood kdc-mp4032 for my hu thats my start lol and after i got two pioneer premier coaxial 4 way 6x9's (for reardeck already installed) ok here comes were i need the advice should i go ahead and get an amp for the 6x9's and leave the stock front door speakers or wait on the amp get the front door speakers and run it off the hu?? or any other adive or suggestions you all have let me know and if you need any more info to help just ask ill try my best to answer oh and if it helps my 6x9's are 80 watts rms at 4 ohm so yea please help and it's in a 1993 concorde

and what should i have my hpf and lpf on with the set up i have right now and whats the diff in the higher the number and the lower the number on each one im a lil confused on it

I would get the front speakers first. Then get a 4 channel amp for the entire system.

The high pass and low pass filters are explained in the stickies. High pass filters block low frequencies, letting higher frequencies pass. I would set these at 80 Hz on your head unit...but maybe after you get a sub. For now, put it as low as possible. Unless you are bottoming out your speakers, then raise that up. The low pass filter should be all the way up, there is no need to block high frequencies since all your speakers are full range.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong

ok so right now i got 40 somethin dollars should i go ahead and get the front door speakers there like 39 dolllars then get amp 40 dollars then get wiring will it make a big diff with the aftermarket speakers in the front im thinking about getting the pioneer premier 3 way coaxial for the front since i got the pioneers in the back

well if i do get the front speakers THEN the amp tell me if this would be good ok the amp is 60x2(4ohm) which is also my speakers and the 6x9's are 80 rms 4 ohm and im pretty sure the fronts would be like 35-40 rms 4 ohm so would a 2x60 4 ohm amp be good my two 6x9's in one channel and fronts in the other channel if not advice it's an amp my friend has and he needs money and i need an amp so yea it would be helpin us both out but i dint wanna get it if it's not gonna make a big diff

After you get your front speakers, then you need a 4 channel amp. Not a 2 channel. 4 speakers to power = 4 channel amp. Try to get an amp with an RMS wattage rating of the same or greater than (but not like 3 times as much) your biggest speakers.

if you ran one channel to the front and one channel to the rear with a 2 channel amp... it would sound terrible. You would lose all stereo sound as there would no longer be any left or right.

yea so i went ahead and bought the amp because my friend really needed the money and so im gonna get some more money get the front speakers and the wiring for the amp and run it to the fronts and do the back so yea and i got a q i got a 1993 concorde and it's pretty long do you think a 18ft rca will work
